Before embarking on a career in music, TKC’s journey began in a vastly different field. In 2005, he worked as a car AC installer and repair technician. Seeking to explore different skills, he transitioned in 2007 to working as a welder under the guidance of his father, where they specialized in constructing gates and burglar bars. However, in 2009, he decided to follow his passion for music full-time. His skills were further refined when he took on the role of a church sound engineer, where he developed a keen ear for audio design and mixing.
In the early 2010s, TKC founded GK Records, a label dedicated to supporting young, upcoming artists in Nigeria. Through GK Records, he helped various emerging talents gain exposure by collaborating with established names like Small Doctor and Joel Amadi. His commitment to nurturing new talent solidified his reputation as a key player in the Nigerian music scene.
